Acton Main Line is an Elizabeth line station on Horn Lane in the north of Acton, in the London Borough of Ealing. The station sits on the original Great Western Main Line corridor — one of Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s great railway achievements — and was brought into the modern Elizabeth line network when the cross-London Crossrail route opened in 2022, transforming what had previously been a quiet suburban station into a fast, direct connection to central London, Heathrow Airport to the west, and Canary Wharf, Stratford, and beyond to the east.

The Elizabeth line service at Acton Main Line is a surface-level stopping service. The station is distinct from the central tunnel sections of the Elizabeth line, and passengers should note that some Elizabeth line services operate as express and may not stop here — checking departure boards and the TfL app before travelling is recommended. Despite this, the station offers a genuinely useful fast link from this part of Acton directly to Paddington (approx. 7 minutes), Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Liverpool Street, Canary Wharf, and Reading or Heathrow in the other direction.

The station is well placed for north Acton, Acton Vale, and the residential streets surrounding Horn Lane, and is one of the two Elizabeth line stations serving the broader Acton area alongside Hayes & Harlington and Ealing Broadway.
